When you tap "Connect Instagram," Meta's own consent screen appears with three permissions listed. None of them are unusual; all three are standard for partner agencies on the Authorized Partners Register.
Profile · basic
instagram_business_basicReads your username, account type, and the public-facing fields visible on your own profile. No analytics beyond what you already see in Instagram's own Insights.
Comments · moderate
instagram_business_manage_commentsLets the editor desk reply to and moderate comments on the campaign posts you commission — within the rules written into your campaign brief. We don't touch comments on non-campaign posts.
Content · publish
instagram_business_content_publishLets us schedule and publish the posts you've approved. The window opens at counter-signature on a campaign and closes at final delivery.
